Good design shouldn't depend on your pin code
If you are building in a smaller city you already know the problem. The competent contractors are there. The design-led architects mostly are not. So people build from a downloaded plan, or a draughtsman's drawing, and end up with a house that works but never quite sings.
We have been solving this for years — by accident before doing it on purpose. Design is led from Mumbai; execution runs through a local contractor we vet with you, with our site visits at the milestones that matter. The Radisson Wellness Spa Retreat at Gandhidham, SGGU at Godhra, and a 15,000 sq.ft residence at Vadodara were all delivered this way.
A video call and your documents — plot papers, survey, photographs, a phone video walk of the site. Enough to understand the place.
Where it is warranted, one visit early. Some things do not come through a screen: how the wind moves, what the neighbours overlook, what the ground is actually like.
Concept, development and working drawings, reviewed over video with 3D views. The drawings are the same drawings — this is not a lighter service.
We help you shortlist and vet, then brief them properly. Where you already have someone, we work with them.
Site visits at layout, plinth, slab, first fix and finishes — plus a WhatsApp group with the contractor, photographs at every stage, and drawing clarifications answered same-day. Most site questions do not need a body on site; they need an answer within the hour.
Remote works well for new homes, villas, interiors and commercial fit-outs where the brief is clear and the contractor is competent. It works less well for heavily phased projects with constant on-site decisions, or where the contractor needs supervision rather than instruction. We will say so at the first call if we think your project is the second kind.
Agreed in writing before we start, and priced in — usually four to six visits for a house, more for larger work. Travel is quoted at cost, not marked up.
